Sound Familiar?

  • You write the rota on a Sunday night.

  • Your phone comes on holiday with you.

  • You're the first number the team rings when the card machine stops working.

  • The reviews are good, but nothing happens without you, and a proper week away feels impossible.

If that's you, it isn't a sign you're bad at running a business. It's usually a sign you were very good at it in the early years, when doing everything yourself was the only way to survive. The business grew. The way you ran it didn't.

What Hospitality Handover is

One-to-one work with me. Four weekly 45-minute sessions, plus a fifth check-in week. Five weeks in all.

The idea is simple: run everything without doing everything.

What we're aiming for:

  • Two full days off a week

  • No calls on your days off

  • At least ten hours a week back

  • Key routines handed to your team within about 30 days

These are aims, not promises. It's what we work towards together.

A team that runs the venue to standard, without you holding all of it.

I've been where you are

For about ten years I ran Ojo Rojo, a restaurant and cocktail bar in Bournemouth. We were in the UK Top 50 Cocktail Bars three years running. And I was the single point of failure in my own business. Every decision came through me, and I never asked for help. In the end it burnt me out.

Getting back took small, deliberate changes. I learned to delegate, to set boundaries and to trust the team. I learned that my presence in the building is not the same as my value to the business. Ojo Rojo closed this year, with six weeks' notice after a dispute with the landlord. I stayed calm. That is what this work is for.

What it looked like for Alex

  • He was overloading himself and not giving his team room to grow

  • He tracked where every hour of his week went and found about 60% went on things that didn't need him

  • He started training his team and handing things over properly

  • He kept work in its own box

  • He got real space back for his life outside the business

  • He came away with a lot less anxiety

“If you feel the walls closing in...”

"...a constant sense of paddling just to stay still..."

"...take a chance on working with Trev."

Alex Beds - Past Client

Hospitality Handover is brand new, so you'd be one of the first owners through it.

I'd rather show you one real story than dress it up. Alex's, and my own.

Founding launch price for the first 10 owners

Hospitality Handover is brand new and nobody has been through it before. So the first 10 owners who join get a discounted founding price. After that, it goes up to full price.

I work with only two owners a month, one-to-one.

The Guarantee

On our first call, we agree what success looks like for you. It might be the hours you spend in the business, the days you actually get off, or something else that matters to you.

If you turn up to every session, do the work we agree and can show me you've done it, and that number still hasn't moved by the end, I'll give you your money back.

That's also why there's an application. I only take on owners I know I can help, and who are ready to act, not looking for a magic fix.

Is this for you?

This is for you if:

  • You do everything, and you're tired

  • You're ready to step back and willing to do the work

  • You want your team to run things to standard without you

  • You're five years in or fifteen, with one site or two

  • You run a restaurant, a bar, a café or a pub

This is not for you if:

  • You're looking for a magic fix

  • You want someone to do it for you

  • You're not ready to act

Step 2: Apply, then get ready for your call

  1. Fill in the short application It takes 5 minutes and may be the most important 5 minutes of the year. A few questions about you and your venue. I only take on owners I know I can help, who are ready to act.

  2. Book your call with Trevor Once you've sent the form, you can book a call with me directly. Allow 45 minutes to an hour, somewhere quiet, not on the floor in the middle of service.

  3. Watch the pre-call video before the call It's longer, and it shows you how the process works. Please watch it before we speak.

  4. Bring any decision-makers If a business partner, husband, wife or partner would be part of this decision, have them on the call with you. It affects them as much as you.

  5. Come ready to talk honestly about your week The more honest you are, the more useful the call will be.

Six months from now

Six months from now, you'll either still be the one holding all of it, or you'll be running a business that doesn't need you for everything.
